Classical music links
- Where does one buy classical CD's except at the usual suspects
such towerrecords.com or amazon.com?
- MDT Mail Order .
A British store, that has a great stock of classical CD's (better than
Tower Records), friendly staff, and they ship to the US for 75p per CD.
It comes much sooner than from Amazon - this is my favorite web site
for buying new classical CD's - they don't carry anything but classical
music.
- Berkshire Record Outlet . The
major cut-out overstock classical CD store, always a fun to browse at,
their prices are unbeatable, and selection is inevitably interesting
and huge.
- Some essays by Maria Yudina.
- An essay by Samuil Feinberg, The Composer and the Peformer
(translated by Stephen Emerson and myself)
- Another essay by Samuil Feinberg, The Style (a rough translation)
- Some interviews from the book by A. Vitsinsky.
- An essay by Mikhail Lidsky
Upon reading Monsaingeon's book on Richter (in Russian).
