Number Theory Learning Seminar

Organized by Brian Conrad and Chris Skinner

This seminar focuses on an important theme or topic in number theory and spends the year learning it. Graduate students and postdocs give the weekly talks, after some preliminary background talk(s) by the organizers. We choose topics on the ``algebraic'' side of the subject, generally related to issues in representation theory or arithmetic geometry.

This year's topic is Serre's conjecture and the background for recent work of Khare. A link to the seminar can be found at the left.
