Math 283: Representation Stability
In Fall 2012 I taught Math 283, a graduate topics course on representation stability. The course surveyed recent work in representation stability, in particular the theory of FI-modules. A key goal was the Noetherian property of FI-modules, and its application to Putman's theorem on central stability for homology of congruence subgroups.
