Here are some (scanned) notes for sections 09 and 10. They are quite rough, and are not exactly the same as what I told you in sections. If you have any questions about these notes, feel free to contact me.

I will update this webpage regularly by making the new notes online as well as some other useful stuffs. You will also find some information about what's going on in sections.

Sept 25: section notes, first day of sections

Sept 27: section notes, example homework solutions (from Mark), completing squares (for those of you who are still in trouble with them)

Oct 2: section notes, notes on computing domains, 1^st homework due at 3pm

Oct 4: section notes, notes for appendix D

Oct 9: section notes, summary of limit computations (from Mark), notes on intermediate value theorem, 2^nd homework due at 3pm, 1^st homework back, I was going a little too slow in today's sections so please check my notes for hints to other problems.

Oct 11: section notes

Oct 16: review, questions and answers, 1^st midterm at Kresge Auditorium from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Oct 18: section notes, solution to problem 53 (the same as in section notes), 3^rd homework due

Oct 23: section notes, 4^th homework due, 1^st midterm back

Oct 25: section notes, 3^rd homework back

Oct 30: section notes, solutions to problems 9-12 (from Mark), notes on differentials and errors, 5^th homework due at 3pm, 4^th homework back

Nov 1: section notes

Nov 6: section notes, solutions to some daily homework problems (from Mark), 6^th homework due at 3pm, 5^th homework back

Nov 8: section notes, a good summary of differential calculus (but it doesn't include log differentiation and l'Hospital's rule)

Nov 13: review, questions and answers, 2^nd midterm at Hewlett 200 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Nov 15: section notes (updated on Nov 27, minor mistakes corrected), 7^th homework due at 3pm

Nov 27: section notes, 8^th homework due at 3pm, 2^nd midterm back, 7^th homework back

Dec 4: section notes, 9^th homework due at 3pm, 8^th homework back

Dec 6: review, summary of integral calculus and further examples, solutions to examples I did in section today, last official section
