The qualifying exams are given twice each academic year, once in the autumn and once in the spring. The exams are normally given in room 381-T of the mathematics building (380).

Autumn 2003 Quals:

• Algebra: September 17 (Wed), 9:30-12:30 and 2:00-5:00.
• Complex analysis: September 19 (Fri), 9:30-12:30.
• Real analysis: September 22 (Mon), 9:30-12:30 and 2:00-5:00.
