Upcoming conferences in algebraic geometry

Here is a list of upcoming conferences involving algebraic geometry that I'm aware of. It may included some unrelated conferences that I may attend. For more information, check on google. I intend to keep this list vaguely up to date, but I make no guarantees. Please help me keep this current. (I tend to update it roughly every month unless someone gives me information directly.) It certainly isn't complete. My definition of algebraic geometry is broad, arbitrary, and changes with time. (Kiran Kedlaya maintains a similar list in arithmetic geometry.)

I prefer in general to just have conference announcements here, but there are two things that might be of interest to the algebraic geometry community.

  • From Michele Bolognesi at Montpellier: It is with great excitement and enthusiasm the we announce that - after months of negotiations - we are now able to put in open access on the internet an important part of Montpellier Grothendieck's archives. These contain about 18000 out of 28000 pages of scanned notes, and actually almost all of the public ones. The address of the full archive is: grothendieck.umontpellier.fr.

  • A new open-access journal, that is completely free to both authors and readers (thanks to the generous support of funding bodies in France --- merci beaucoup!): the journal epiga, which is part of the "episciences" initiative. The first volume should appear by July, and I think it should reasonably quickly be a leading journal in algebraic geometry (at least as the same level as the best journals in the area), not least because of the publishing model, which may potentially transform mathematical publishing.
