The textbook is Single Variable Calculus : Concepts and Contexts (4th ed) by James Stewart.
A copy is on reserve in the Math library (4th floor of the Math Building, bldg 380).
I will follow this textbook in the lectures, and will use it for some of the homework problems and extra credit problems.
Stanford has a Peer Tutoring Program. For more information, see their website.
The undergraduate mathematics organization (SUMO) also has a service of free tutoring in a drop-in center. I don't have the exact days and times yet, but it usually starts in early October, and is usually on Monday and Wednesday evenings. I will make an announcement as soon as this information is available.
I encourage you to form study groups. You may find the Discussion page in Coursework to be helpful. Feel free to post messages for everyone.
I will use this space to post supplemental resources as the quarter progresses.
