Problem Sets

Homework policy

Problem sets will be due each Friday. You may turn your problem set in during class on Thursday, but otherwise, please make sure it is in the labeled envelope in my mailbox by 3:00 p.m. Problem sets must be stapled and legible, and no late assignments will be accepted. You are encouraged to work on the problems with other students in the class, but each student is responsible for understanding and writing up his or her own solutions. Also, if you work with other students in the class, please acknowledge your collaborators on your assignment.
For solutions to old problem sets, please see the Materials section on the Coursework site.
