Jason Morton

I am currently an assistant professor jointly in Math and Statistics at Penn State.

I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the TMSCSS group at Stanford working with Gunnar Carlsson. I completed my Ph.D. in mathematics in December 2007 with Bernd Sturmfels.

My research is on the geometry of statistical models and algorithms arising in statistical learning theory and finance. More about my research. My CV.
