Jason Morton

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the TMSCSS group at Stanford working with Gunnar Carlsson. I completed my Ph.D. in mathematics in December 2007 with Bernd Sturmfels. Beginning January, I will be an assistant professor jointly in Math and Statistics at Penn State.

My research is on the geometry of statistical models and algorithms arising in statistical learning theory and finance. More about my research. My CV.
