Jason Morton

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the TMSCSS group at Stanford working with Gunnar Carlsson. I completed my Ph.D. in mathematics in December 2007 with Bernd Sturmfels. Beginning August 15, I will be an Assistant Professor jointly in the Mathematics and Statistics Departments at Penn State. I will be on leave for the fall semester at Stanford.

My research is on the geometry of statistical models and algorithms arising in statistical learning theory and finance. More about my research. My CV.
