Title:
Lagrangian surgery and pseudoholomorphic curves
Abstract:
Lagrangian surgery is a construction
originally introduced by Lalonde and Sikorav to resolve transverse
intersections of Lagrangian submanifolds. In an appendix of their
manuscript, Fukaya, Oh, Ohta and Ono study the transformation of the
moduli spaces of pseudoholomorphic curves under this surgery. I will
present some ideas inspired by their work, and will show how their
result is describing a hidden relationship to some kind of relative
contact homology.
