I am a fifth-year graduate student in the Stanford Mathematics Department, working under Ralph Cohen. My interests lie in algebraic topology, homological algebra, and category theory.

Job Applications

Research and Papers

My current research focuses on relating the algebraic structures of string topology to the Hochschild homology and cohomology of based loop spaces.

I also have interests in related fields, including topological field theories and higher category theory. For older research projects, please view my research webpage.

Teaching

My past teaching assignments at Stanford:

In June 2009, I received a Stanford University Centennial Teaching Assistant Award. For 2005–2008, I was supported by an NDSEG Fellowship and had no teaching responsibilities. For other past teaching activities, please view my teaching webpage.

Seminars

Along with Dean Baskin, I am co-organizing the 2009–10 Student Research Colloquium, a weekly lunchtime seminar giving advanced graduate students an opportunity to present their research to a general mathematical audience.

In 2006–07, I organized the Faculty Areas of Research Seminar.
