Teaching

I am on research assistanceship this quarter. In the past I have taught for Math 215B, Math 53, Math 215B, and Math 51H.

Research

I'm a student of Ralph Cohen. My interests revolve around applications of homotopy theory to smooth manifolds, and include stable homotopy theory, string topology, and algebraic K-theory. Last spring I worked on a project to generalize one of Ralph Cohen's recent results. It resulted in this preprint:

A Tower Connecting Gauge Groups to String Topology

Expository Notes
Talks

I have been a part of the "xkcd" discussion group with Aaron Mazel-Gee and Eric Peterson, along with the String Topology Seminar run by Sander Kupers and Kate Poirier. I also come to the Topology Progress Seminar and the No Progress Seminar at Stanford.

In 2010-2011, I did the KIDDIE colloquim with Amy Pang. The old page for it is here.
