Autumn 2008 Schedule
October 1, 2008
Speaker:
Fei Han
Title:
Some recent progress on the Stolz-Teichner program
Abstract:
The Stolz-Teichner program aims to relate
supersymmetic QFTs to
generalized cohomology theories. In the talks, I will briefly
introduce the program and discuss some recent progress which leads to the
quantum interpretation of some classical concepts in topology like de
Rham cohomology, K-theory and Chern character etc.
