Multivariate Methods in Immunology

Abstract:

I will show how multivariate methods for incorporating disparate sources of information can help solve complex problems in immunology. Using statistical resampling techniques such as the bootstrap often results in difficult comparisons between graphs and trees, methods based on relevant multidimensional scaling type techniques give some insight into the structure.

I will show examples applications from joint work with Peter Lee in the Hematology Department.
