We meet on Thursdays at 10 AM in room Evans 939.

Organizers: Anton Dochtermann and Alex Engstrom .

This semester we are studying combinatorial models of vector bundles and classifying spaces, incorporating notions of oriented matroid bundles and related objects introduced by MacPherson and others. We will decide on particular papers to discuss, but nice introductions are this paper by Anderson and Davis and Matroid Bundles by Anderson.

Some other interesting papers will be posted here.

Our first talk of the term, however, will be more in lines with the theme last year. Alexander Berglund, a visitor at Stanford, will discuss his work on DJ spaces.
