Upon Your Arrival on Campus If you are being driven to campus, it’s a good idea to have your driver wait during your Service Center check-in. Some of our residences are located a few minutes from the Service Center, making them challenging to reach when carrying luggage on foot. For maps of our different Service Centers, click here. NOTE: The above transportation resources are provided as a convenience to conference visitors
to the Stanford University campus. Stanford University and the Stanford Mathematics Department make no representation regarding the companies/services listed
above. All prices and schedules are subject to change without notice. Please visit each transportation provider’s website for updates. Public TransportationIf, for some reason, you don't want to rent a car or take a cab or shuttle, you can get to Palo Alto from the San Francisco Airport by train. You will first need to take a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train from the airport to the Millbrae train station (BART schedule here) and then catch a CalTrain southbound to Palo Alto (train schedule here). Once you have arrived at the Palo Alto station, you can take the free Marguerite shuttle to campus. Here is a shuttle route map. Please note that, although the combined fares for this method of transportation are considerably lower than the alternatives, the convenience is also considerably lower.
